Augustin's 9th Birthday!

For my brother's birthday I made him a giant cupcake cake.I got the mold for christmas and have been meaning to use it.



I won't post a recipe because I'm a big Betty Crocker advocate and I'm pretty sure I don't need to tell you guys how to add egg and oil to cake mix and bake for 45 minutes! The icing was a cream-cheese icing (1 block of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of butter, whisked in the stand mixer with 4 cups of icing sugar and food coloring).



I also used 6 Kit-Kat bars for the edges of the "cupcake wrapper."



Can you tell he's kind of super stoked? It was partially because of the cake, and partially because the Canucks beat the Blackhawks once and for all on his birthday. He's a proud little Canucks fan!
